Another round of Houdini tinkering and rendering.

The paddles are keyed with the vertical movement of the ball, plus a little delay to make it more interesting. Their jiggle is using a fairly simple point color mask and offset driven by similar timing.

The ball is using the mesh smear effect again, to get that exaggerated trail.

Trying out the geo-light option in Karma XPU this time, letting the grid emissive light the space up a good amount.
