I've been building a procedural world maker in Houdini recently. It is still a work in progress, but I think it's at a good place to show a little.
It's fun to see massive landscapes generate fairly quickly in Unreal Engine with this too.
__________
This can generate natural paths between chosen "settlement" locations and naturally flat areas. All sort of foliage, rock and decor scattering. It can also generate cliff-side meshes with different detail options. Plenty more in the works, as well.
Landscape variations made with this and then a bit of a process flip-book of another. Last few are in Unreal Engine.
Quick drop into one generated in UE4. Still plenty of work to go on the foliage and whatnot.
