I had an idea for this setup when I was working on my last post, the cave for Halloween. Seemed like a good combo with the wandering tentacles that one had.

First time doing everything in Houdini too, from the procedural eye and tendril creation, to the Karma render, then a comp in COPs.
A quick step thru the creation process. Masks for eye placement > Cut eye holes into input mesh > tendril gen along surface
